Please read the following Library Policy before you make your trip to the library.

You do not need to be a member of the Historical Society to use the main Library.

Only Portage County Historical Society Members will have access to material in the
Archival Library by appointment only.

 
LIBRARY USE POLICY


ONLY PENCILS ARE PERMITTED. NO PENS or MARKERS ARE ALLOWED


PURSES, BRIEFCASES, BOOK-BAGS etc., are not permitted on the table.


PATRONS MAY REMOVE BOOKS FROM SHELVES IN SECTION A & B, BUT MUST TAKE THEM TO THE TABLE.


WHEN REMOVING MATERIAL FROM THE FILE CABINETS TAKE THE ENTIRE GREEN HANGING FOLDER.

DO NOT RE-FILE FOLDERS.

DO NOT RE-SHELVE BOOKS.

PROPER HANDLING OF ALL MATERIAL IS REQUIRED.

Leave all items on the table. A volunteer will put them away.

Most material can be photo copied. Ask a volunteer for assistance.
Copies are 25¢ each. Color copies are available for $1.00 Copies of photos are subject to review.
